Outcomes
Addressing fundamental challenges of a complex working environment, required inventive solutions and a strategic approach to the project at the outset. Power supply and Green Star Initiatives were addressed by creating "power banks" of solar arrays along access roads, ensuring a sustainable and reliable energy source. The challenges related to ground conditions and the removal of contaminated soil were mitigated by stringent contract conditions and reporting frameworks.
Long Span light weight roof sheeting was designed to eliminate secondary structure addressing cost and environmentally sustainable initiates. Aluminium external cladding was adopted to address the marine environment. Construction tender negotiated to below budget.
